Liriope vernalis Lavender Springs Jubautia a big honker(aka: Liriope sp. Nov CPC 5. 5. 01. 3) Liriope vernalis is a new clumping liriope species that we've named from a Darrell Probst discovery in Sichuan, China. Liriope vernalis forms a small 10" tall x 20" wide, non spreading evergreen clump of 1 4" wide green, arching leaves. Unlike all previously known liriope species which flower in summer, Liriope vernalis 'Lavender Springs' starts flowering for us in mid May, with 1' tall spikes of small lavender
