Works well with a factory final drive, but is a spectacular performer when used with a 5.08 final drive. When a 5.46 final drive is used with this gear set, it is designed for very short-course racing or fast, short, autocross courses. It is not suggested using the 5.84 or 6.33 final drives with this close-ratio gearset
