It has a silver plate ferrule and a brass hook and is possibly of Scottish origin. This button hook is part of the collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. It measures 2 7 8 in length. These smaller button hooks were used for gloves, dress buttons, sleeves or shirt collars and are generally called glove hooks. It is in very good condition with no pronounced defect. This is
