Morrisonite, Rough Rock, per lb Polyhedroids with light yellowThis material was mined in the late 90s from the Jake's Place claim, originally called Big Hole One. Morrisonite, or Morrison Ranch Jasper, comes from eastern Oregon in a region near the Owyhee River. This famous jasper can have egg or 'Bruneau' patterning, but typically shows streamers or other brecciated patterns. Inside a light tan rhyolite host, the jasper can be shades of deep green and blue, often with tans or golden yellows. Size ranges from
