Antique 17th Century Italian Leather and Pine & Brass Stud Work Carriage Chest Trunk 1680 Drawings & Prints This very attractive and allAntique Italian late 17th century leather on pine carriage chest trunk, with brass stud work, circa 1680. This rare survivor from the late baroque period of the 1600s was made in the Tuscany region of Italy, the dome topped chest with a pine wooden carcass covered in brown leather. The dome hinged top is decorated with brass stud work panels; the two central panels with star shaped motifs the end panels with stylized heraldic shields, the base of the
